Emergency Family Assistance Association helps those in our community whose immediate needs for food, shelter and other basic necessities cannot adequately be met by other means, and supports their efforts toward financial stability or self-sufficiency. EFAA also reaches out directly to the community for help and support in their efforts through a variety of very successful volunteer and fund-raising programs.

The Carriage House is a place where the homeless can come for shelter from the elements, a midday meal, and access to community resources. A coalition of business owners, civil servants, faith community representatives and city staff collectively agreed to create this place.
