CONSIGN
Unless you’ve been living under a rock – or just working too
much and not staying caught up on the state of the planet –
you’ve probably heard about the need to make some changes in
our lives and give some thought to our purchasing habits. Good
news. If you’re a Rags shopper you’re on the right track. For 12
years we’ve been committed to finding new bodies for “old”
clothes, donating unsold items to women all over the world,
cutting up un-useable clothing to be used as cloth, and recycling
our paper, plastic and metal. We don’t claim to be doing everything
possible, but we are making an effort. And we thank you
for getting in the loop with us!
- We accept consignments Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm – up to one hour before close. We do not consign on Sundays.
- Items must be in season, in style, clean and like new.
- We recommend new consignors start with 20 items or less- just to see if what you have is what we’re looking for.
- 30 items per person, per day. Pre-Wash. Pre-Sort. Pre-Count.
- The consignment period is 4 weeks. The consignor will receive 40% of the sale price.
- As soon as an item has sold, the money is yours, and you can check on your account as often as you like by calling – or stopping by – the store.
- At the end of your consignment period we will gather your unsold items, giving you 3 pre-designated days in which to pick them up – if you want them back.
- Any unclaimed items will be donated to the charitable organization of our choice.
