I opened Rags in 1995 with $6500, no background in business, an unfinished degree in History, one book (the only one I could find!) on How to Open a Consignment Store, three small children, and a whole lotta gumption! Here we are 15 years later and Rags has grown to four times the size it started, 19,000+ consignors, a great crew of hardworking, devoted employees, and the best and most loyal customers ever (to those of you who used to shop in my basement... here's to ya!) I hope you love shopping at Rags as much as I do.
